Tempting Fate Again

Why do I do these things to myself? The single most embarrassing event of my adult life was popping in the KoRn bootleg of the Sick and Twisted tour's stop in Toronto, only to find myself unabashedly rocking out on stage. There was always the outside chance of me being on the tape, but did the camera have to be on me for the whole thing, including the merciless head banging during 'Got the Life?' That's why bootlegs are such fascinating things, because you buy them for two main reasons, one - to validate in your mind that the event was in fact as amazing as you thought it was, they bring back memories that are often clouded by the post concert amnesia that settles in after a good night's sleep. And two - a slightly more vain reason - to see if you made it on the tape. I did, and I cringe everytime I think about it. Throwing up the horns and head banging while in the moment is all well and good, but in the cold, harsh light of day, months later...eesh.
I mention this because I may have done it again - this time I've ordered a DVD copy of the Sky Sports coverage of the Liverpool homecoming parade. I've got it on good authority that I was in fact featured on this too - maybe I ordered it to see how bad it is. Its a bit like a train wreck - hopefully I didn't embarrass myself and have everyone in England, and possibly around the world, think I'm a tool. When it arrives I will watch it, try to find me, and report back.
Thankfully, in this case there was no horns, no head banging, and no 'Got the Life' it can only be better, right?
