So the DVD arrived, and after multiple watchings, I've determined that its not that bad - as they pan across the crowd, you see a slightly gangly figure clutching a lamp post, in a vintage Liverpool shirt, waving a flag. No devil horns, no headbanging, no metal. Phew. Once in a lifetime is embarrassing, twice....that's just not on!
In other news - it seems as though the G8 are dropping the third world debt. Bono must be pissed. His pet project that got his face on the news actually succeeded, his PR scam gone, what's he going to do now? Maybe he'll take on Asia now, railing against their population controls - perhaps he'll adopt thousands of Chinese railway children. Then, with Africa and Asia firmly under his control, he can move on a total world domination. But he'll probably go back and rehash Africa again, resting on laurels instead of blazing trails. Ooohhh....metaphor.
